Sunning myself in Portugal (well I was but it’s now pouring) and then bouncing to Mexico from here for a bit. Then coming back and doing one final event with Boggle.

I think the weather in England is actually better than here now ?

Tempted to find somewhere to go ride a Lusitano, I went by the stud I worked at 12 years ago but it’s no longer there which is sad.

Also tentatively waiting for boggles export test results, have been tying myself up in knots about that.

Looked like you had a good spin RF. saw you go as was there with my 6yo!
Pleased with mine, his dressage is improving and despite going green & spooky in the sj, he held his ? together better than might have been!
XC he was his usual super self

Great event for exposing to a bit of atmosphere - you must be very excited for the future.

@LEC your thoroughbred looks super!

I'm a bit late to the thread but tiny pony did his first ever fun ride at enville Hall yesterday. He was very good , a bit bucky at the start of the first few canters but nothing bad , just high spirits . He coped well with horses in the distance and coming towards him and we even jumped a teeny tiny log lol
I'm hoping to get him to a few TREC comps next year so this was a good start

2 good hacks with our favourite wingmen; I'm really pleased that's coming good again.
Also had a very good lesson, I rode much better than last week, and we got a glimpse of things to come.
Building young horses is time-consuming; it's so easy to forget when you sit on an older one just how much is involved in getting them into an established way of going.

he has very big shoes to fill so let’s hope so. But it all looks promising at the moment and thanks to running behind the Warmblood he can have plenty of time to learn his job and strengthen up.

Drove off in thick fog 1st thing, came home littered with frillies, in sunshine.
B was exemplary in the whp, winning 2 classes and taking championship, v happy.
Also wandered our way through P12 and picked off 3rd. They lost my w&t sheet, so left them head scratching.... didnt stay for open ridden as I was pooped, as was B.
A lovely outing as a tribute to our late Queen, who was duch a staunch supporter of the breed.
Can now add that we scraped a 5th in the w&t, also, having been nagged by friends - we sprinted round the handy pony too. Heard last night that we won that as well ?, and subsequently the versatile pony pot too, for gaining the most points from 1 jumping, 1 stresssge and also handy pony class!
So apparently another 2 frillies and 2 pots to come!
That's it, I'm officially retiring! We've had a very varied year and either done pretty well at everything attempted, or at least completed.

Winter sj clinics and boxing out to tootle round the countryside methinks.
