This made me laugh, one to add to the fell pony performance trails (I think you have fells dont you)when you say "working horse test" to me, I picture trying to get through a gate in the p*shing rain and mud, with a lamb under one arm! Maybe I should start a new class...!

Trouble is I'm not as young as I was but I still need something hardy, brave & adaptable. I'm herding on foot atm.
I didn't want to ride after G. went & then my heart wasn't really in horse shopping so I took a share but I'm not allowed to bring him home. I've got two Highland 2 year olds here for grazing & handling but they're not my own & one at least will be going back.

My fell has plenty of sassJoking apart, if a sweet tempered Fell mare knocked on my door, I wouldn't turn her away!
