So angry at the moment, I've recently started riding out some guys show jumpers for him, they're all pretty highly strung as you can imagine show jumpers are, they're fed high concentrate diets and have little turn out, which in my quite large experience with keeping show jumpers this is the norm during the winter. The guy who owns them has gone away so they havent been exercised since i rode them on friday, so all are a little fresh to say the least, which I dont mind at all.
Anyway, took out my last one to be ridden today, whos about 17hh, KWPN pretty god damn sparky, and was on our way home so he was being a little bouncy, anyway car comes up behind me so I make him stop and he goes bolt upright, anyway, I give him a wallop, and make him work into an outline and trot him forward. Another car was coming the other way and I slowed down to go past it, next thing horse puts in this humungous buck, and yes I fell off!! On the road... damn horse, anyway, not to bothered about that, thats horses for you. But this bloody woman had a massive go at me saying he's obviously scared of cars, which I explained no hes not, he's just fresh... and she tells me I should of stopped after he reared with me... (what? so he could do it again and make him worse!!) and I should of got off and led him home, (I'm 5'3, the horse is 17hh!! I'd be 2' off the ground!!) Stupid clueless woman, all this whilst I was trying to find my phone which had fallen out of my pocket to ring the owners son to tell him horse was on his way home!!!
Some people wind me up so much, she didnt even ask me if I was ok, thankfully the other woman was much more understanding as she had horses and she gave me a lift back to the yard where thankfully owners son caught him and put him away!!
Its gonna be lunged for a whole hour tomorrow!!!
Oh yeh and my bum hurts!
