Only from the dressage bit, none of the cones and obstacles sadly, but as well as Bobbie we had a pair of ponies, a team of 4 ponies and a single so it was a bit manic! We are dressed like scruffs. Normally I have matching pads and clothes etc but I dont have any of that stuff for Bobbie yet as i didnt expect to be doing anything like this until Summer time. And before anyone says, yes my carriage is too small. It fitted her when I bought her but shes shot up so its for sale and i'm looking for another one

I think this one is brilliant and its had me in stitches all day. We came down the centre line and she saw the mirrors and literally couldnt believe her eyes!

I've just found out that my partner did take some photos after all, so here is Bobbie doing the obstacles section. Most people go hell for leather in this bit, but we just went at a nice steady trot so she had lots of time to think and work it out. It can just look like a maze of obstacles to them when they first start, and theres lots of doubling back and I didnt want to haul her about. So we just coasted round

You should sit in the seat at the same height as if you were riding. If you look at the photos I am too low down. It doesnt actually matter that much in a 4 wheel carriage as they are balanced and stable with no one sitting in them and the shafts are designed to be pretty adjustable. Its way more important in a 2 wheel vehicle. If the balance on that is wrong the weight of the carriage will push down on the ponies back, when its balanced properly it floats along with no pressure.
