Just some pics from our first competition of the year, just a little local eventer trial.

Didn't place at all, as I was a muppet having too much fun and cantered straight past fence 6 so racked up time having to circle back round! Sack the rider!

What a fabulous looking beast... So unusual, how old is he? Really love your colour combo together. :) My favourite photo is the fifth one down.

Thanks. It's a Christ Lamfelle Treeless pad. I love it....though am looking to get him a saddle made up this year now sometime now we'll get doing a bit more hopefully.

He's still little legs....14.1hh (ish) I would guess.

Can I ask where you bought him please? If you'd prefer not to disclose, you can PM me.

I lost my lovely coloured horse in 2014 and hope to buy another in the not too distant future.

Ha I give up with facial expressions riding I have an annoying habit of talking ourselves round whatever we're doing I always think I must sound like a right odd one chatting away to him

he's totally gorgeous ... what a beauty!! great pics.

love your saddle pad too ... and just interested ... do you use it for all your riding? Presumably you don't find a problem with pressure across the stirrup area? I've read such mixed reports about these it's great to see one in use with a horse obviously going well.

Thanks

yes we have used it for everything since he was 4. He gets regular physio check ups and she's not found a single suggestion of any pressure points or soreness caused. It has good shims and pads under and good spine clearance :) I love it and he has done. It solved what would have been all our saddle fitting nightmares for the last few years as he was changing shape

It's been lovely to see him growing up over the years.

What model is your saddle. I have a Christ lamfelle but it's not got anything fancy like thigh rolls or shims etc. I was also worried about riding in it and pressure points however it has been a life saver during my current saddle trauma and the physio has not found a single issue with her at all. I'm not brave enough to jump as high as you do in it tho!

Looking really fab. I love him.

Thankyou.

I have the Premium one FfionWinnie, which has the extra front knee rolls and padded cantle. However I also added more memory foam inserts, for a bit more extra cushioning and spine clearance. :)

Sparks now lives next door but one to Frankie and his pics dont do him justice! He is so pretty for a cob with a beautiful refined head! Hes the loveliest boy as well, so gentle and polite. I have serious horse envy!

He's lovely, has the look of my cob :D she to has the unusual mottly coloured bits but hers are grey and your boy has a bit of more hair, looks even more like my mares mum who is the exact same colour :)

What a hunk! xxxxxx

Never mind, I was reknowned for missing a fence or taking one in the wrong order!

Hence I was better at eventing than showjumping!

IMO if you are both having fun, who cares! .........Gosh he is lovely.
