Just passing through...
Some may know Little Cob tied up (Azotoria) a couple of months ago. He was living out 24/7 and was worked nice and steady before he tied up - we don't know how/why it happend.
Weeks of box rest (field rest didn't work, too hilly), then very gentle steady and controlled return to work, all fine.
This week we got the all clear to start treating like normal. He's been on Shape Up (because it has natural selenium and Vit E), salt added to his feeds, salt licks, and electrolytes, and he's living out 24/7.
He's been hacked out once since getting the all clear and it wasn't strenuous.
Since then he's been lame. Vet said don't panic, as muscles aren't hard/spasaming treat as a tweak. But, he's getting worse
. Farrier came today to trim his feet: LC has brilliant feet as a rule, but he's squared off a huge section of his off-hind hoof because he's been dragging it. Farrier couldn't figure out which leg he was really lame on as action is now so wonky
, though possibly it's the near hind, high up.
This is the pony that in the three and a half years we've owned him has never been sick nor sorry. He's a lovely lad and it's sad to see him like this. D1 is holding her chin up, but it's wobbling now

Vet is coming out tomorrow evening.
So, any spare thoughts and/or ideas much appreciated.
