poor little thing

horse didnt seem overly bothered and it wasnt asked to do alot was it?!!!

fall at the was inevitable TBH.....not the safest seat in the world, bless her.

OMG thats not right.

However im annoyed that some people on there saying if you cant mount from the ground then you shouldnt be riding. Ive got a very bad back and i cannot mount from the ground, does that mean i shouldnt be riding?

Im not the lightest person in the world, infact i lost 5 stone before i started riding!! Ive been told im not too heavy for my horse as i get so paranoid!

no, jst makes things a little easier if you fell off away from home to be able to clamber back on without a block...no problem if you enjoy walking home!

That is true, wasnt looking to start an argument. I used to mount from the ground but at riding stable i was at, they said they were against mounting from the ground as it was bad on the back.

I am not saying that people who cannot/won't get on from the ground shouldn't ride. I mean that this woman is SO fat that she is struggling to get on this horse from the back of the pick up!

I mean come on - you have to see this in the context it is meant. I cannot imagine for a second that you are so fat that you spill out over the saddle. I am sure that nearly everyone on this forum, heavy or not can understand that there is without a doubt a weight limit and this woman is over that limit - certainly for this little horse. It is cruel.

This is a very obvious case of someone who is far too fat to sit on a horse. Fact.

OMG, it doesn't matter what size you are I still think it's ok to ride so long as you ride something appropriate, but she was squashing that poor pony something rotton.

Just hoping this little horse finds a new home... no, stop, actually hoping that the fall fatty had broke her nerve, and she never goes near a horse again. And THEN the horse gets a new home.

Oh, and I've stood on my Landrover bumper to get on my horse, pretty much as he's in an XXXW tree adn his saddle slides around his completely round body if I mount from the ground!

OMG that is unbelievable!!!

. That poor poor horse. Freely and happily admit to shouting out "yay go little horse" when he/she dumped her. There are Horses that can cope with the heavier rider but there is a limit to even those.

Jeeeeeeeeeeez.... what is wrong with some people.... poor little blighter...

Just to add tho that at 5ft 4, riding a 17hh, there is NO WAY i could get on from the ground!!

Poor little horse.

Saddle looked pretty heavy too, and the horse looked fairly young. You could see it swaying when that woman was bouncing round trying to get herself comfortable, as if she was settling onto a sofa. Heartbreaking, I can only hope the woman sustained an injury in the fall and doesn't ride again.

Lets us say, no way would she get near my horse - and he is a 16.3 clydesdale! I really cannot believe the ignorance of some people.

Nothing against people riding who are large, but there is large, and there is large.

I always mount from something but I normally ride 16 hands + (apart from Chancer) and am under 5' and not as young as I used to be.

I could barely watch that video! Every time that woman shuffled about to get comfortable, I actually felt physically sick!
How cruel to expect that pony to carry her weight!
I personally would love to be able to report her!
