What do you take when going to look at a horse
a) a halter
b) your mother
c) an experienced horseperson
d) Youre credit card :P

30 min a day to care for a horse? I'd love to know what they call caring for a horse - obviously not daily riding, grooming, mucking out, turning out etc.

I got 9 out of 10...I have no idea how someone can muck out, groom, feed, hay, water etc in half an hour!

That is the trick question.....it takes me up to an hour and a half!

takes me at least an hour and a half an evening, you spend at least 15 mins mucking out. 5 mins to do hay water, 10 mins chasing idiot pony round the field, at least 20mins to groom and check pony over, half an hour or an hour to ride, 10 mins to groom and rug up after riding, feed pony, hang round for pony to finnish (10 mins). remove bucket and check pony over. then go home.
I also do a late night check.
And it takes 10 to 15 mins in the morning to change rugs, feed and put out.

thats 85 mins without the riding, so add 30 to 60 mins to that!

!!What a bad owner i am that it takes me and hour and half a day just looking after him, what would happen if i needed the other 2hrs for riding???????????

Pmsl!!!What a joke!!!

Just took the test and I'm almost ready for ownership... best sell my four right now then. Thirty mins per day for care and wire mesh fencing for horse's? I dont think so

I said 120 mins for caring for horse.... even though in reality it takes about 10..... unless I want to ride
blush.gif
and wasnt sure what high tensile wire was..... so put that wire mesh was the least suitable.......

Bloody hell, if I am not ready by now I may as well shoot the black bugger!!!!!!
grin.gif

Got 8 out of 10, as how they expect you to ride, feed, muck out, walk to and from yard, so field and stable water etc in 30 mins I'm not quite sure!! And didn't know what high tensile wire was, so apparently I'm "almost ready for horse ownership"

THIRTY of our earth minutes??? I think not!!! I put 120mins...as 60 was too few!!! Also I thought wire mesh was pretty dangerous...feet through and all that..but perhaps the americans mean chicken wire???
