sooo....

I'm now 10 stone something ;), and loosing :cool::D.

My horse is a 14.3hh PBA who no doubt carried me easily at 11 stone but as she is 20 this year I will feel better if I get some of this weight off!

I also ride my mum's horse who is 15.2hh Fresian Hackney cross who is a beast :D, and she generally behaves better with someone taller and heavier than me and my mum, (my mum is about the same weight as a feather she is sickening :D).

I might not sound that heavy but being erm vertically challenged shall we say ;), at 5'2/3" I think once I'm back under 10 stone I will be healthier, happier and more importantly less of a weight for my gorgeous Doodle :D.

I've no idea how much I weigh but I would think I'm somewhere between 11 and a half and twelve and a half stones (I'm 6'1" and a bit!) and I ride a 17 year old, 16.2HH TB and a 6 year old, 17hh ISH.

Photos of me on each of them

im 5'10 and weigh 8st 8
ride TB 16.3 medium build and warmblood 17hh and still growing always had big horses as legs look silly (and i feel like a giant spider on anything smaller) although have ridden my friends 13.2 and that was hilarious as i ride long anyway and may as well have had roller skates on but he is a cob so didn't look at silly as i thought.

Why are you too heavy? If you ride lightly and have a weight carrier you would be fine. I have gone from 5st9lbs a few months ago to a huge 8st4lb and ride a hw cob of 15hh most of the time, but also a few others.

im 11 .5 stone and have always been around 9.5 stone up until a couple of years ago-dunno what happened really but am starting my diet tomorrow!! i ride a 16.2hh anglo arab hes 20 and a 27 yr old 16.1hh cobx and neither would mind if my butt was considerably smaller :rolleyes:

Twenty odd stone and I wouldnt put a mount through the ordeal of carrying me quite frankly.

I do have two ponies though and adore them :)

my friend rides a 20 yr old 16.2hh IDXTB and shes a size 24 .shes 5 ft and built like an apple with very short legs so all of her weight is up on top rather than draped around the horse, personally i know shes too heavy to ride this horse:(

5'4", 12st, slowly toning up to a decent level of fitness again after a few months out of the saddle late last year. Am riding a variety of horses in lessons, from 14.3hh to 16.1hh, nothing too finely built obviously.

Ideally, I would like to be around 10st, but this is taking ages despite my best efforts. I was 13 1/2st back in April 2011, got myself down to 11 1/2st a year later, so I can do it. Have found that horse ownership suits me for weightloss...all of the running around after them care wise, lol!
