My TB has been off for 3 weeks now (orders from the vet) due to a sore back where the back of the saddle wasnt sitting right and causing pressure over this area. She was tender to touch....ie running finger tip pressure over the area would result in a slight dipping motion - nothing major but still uncomfortable.
She is due to start work again next weekend, lunging for first few days, saddler coming a few days after to fit new saddle then bring back into work fully.
She has another week yet but shes still moving away from the pressure, its still sore although slightly better.
Going to call my vet again end of the week if its still the same - so whats the next steps? and how long is it likely to take to heal??
She going bonkers not being ridden as she thrives on work and routine, when shes in work shes lovely to handle. At the moment Shes a handful to lead down to the field and when shes out she bombs up and down throwing shapes
stopping dead at the fence etc..........
Thanks
