Have always had a problem with fleas as she is long haired and low to the ground, she is treated regularly and flea bathed. The fleas have now vanished but she became very itchy.
Then what looked like big teenage yellow heads popped all over her tummy over night. The vet gave her steroids which she has almost finished, spots went in a couple of days and no more itching....
Except for a patch on her muzzle which started as a little hair loss and has no progressed to a hailess patch about 10p sized and looks like eczema.
The vet advised if any more irritation occurs we may have to investigate into allergies...tests....special food, money and more money.
I don't really want to rush into this as it is localised at the minute so any ideas what it may be or what I could put on it to soothe the muzzle area?
Sorry about the waffle!
