I have been considering changing my puppy's diet to raw. She currently has a very nice coat and looks good overall (I prefer dogs more on the lean side).
She has been on Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. However, she's not much of an eater - and its not because I spoiled her. She gets the food on her bowl, has about five minutes to decide if she want to eat and then I take it from her. I present the bowl several times a day but for the most part she sniffs at it and turns away, sometimes going two or three days without nothing to eat. She does graze a lot on our lawn.
Thus the raw diet idea.
She is a 10 1/2 month old king charles cavalier. How should I make the transition (which food do you introduce first)? Can anyone give me an example of a small dog diet?
Vet is no help, I've asked him about it and he thought I was crazy.
