Sorry, another silly foal question ....

My foal lived with 4 year olds and a 20 year old
He is well rounded and good mannered
I would suggest a third horse just to give the 6 yo a break
Keeping a foal entertained alone can be tiring

We have had foals weaned at 6m and at at youngstock livery and foals kept at home in a family group (2 mares and their 2 and 3yos plus new foal). The latter was much less stressful. The foal was weaned at maybe 10 months, by which time he was spending most of his time with his 'siblings'. We moved the mares and the young ones didn't care..
