Second horse in a month now on box rest with a sprained tendon, last one only went back out earlier this week, due to rock hard ground.
So apologies everyone, I'm praying for overnight rain for at least a week.

It's mental isn't it?!!

Last year we had so much of the bloody stuff my mare grew water wings

But now we really need some

Be careful what you wish for eh?

i know....my dad needs to get his hay in too...BUT.... i have area sj next weekend at Aldon where the ground is notoriously concrete, if i wasn't in a team i would pull out.... *prepares to perform rain dance*

No! Not yet! My hubby spent all day yesterday cutting hay (plus he's promised to make me my own small bales for the first time in my life) so give it another week pleeeeaaassee!!!

No here either! My horses just better mind themselves. Not that I think that will be an issue as they don't want to move in the heat! My husband is helping our supplier with hay making this year so some cheaper bales will be welcome!

No I want no rain for a week going to my USA Lifestyle even thurs ~ Sun had no warm weekend for the last few years at it

You'd better stop cos they're cutting hay this week if u want your ponies to have affordable food this winter then it really needs to be sunny this week!

We cut our hay yesterday so if your rain prayers are answered I'm coming round to your hourse with 10 acres of soggy hay for you to dry in your microwave !! (smiley face)
