hi everyone again as most of you now know i was stopped on Monday while out on a hack by the police...
on tuesday a friend who's a local reporter looked into it and was told that no incident had occurred !!
now what i forgot to say in my last post is that on Wednesday night on my way back from dropping OH at the pub i was stopped by the police (nothing new as I'm in north wales) and told that the car had shown up on the ANPR ( in car computer) as not having any insurance !!
luckily i carry my insurance details with me . while they check out with my insurance company that i do have insurance . they make me take the baby and dog out of the car and wait at the road side while they search the car !! its 7.30pm and the baby is only 7 weeks old. everything checks out and I'm let on my way.
today i had to take OH to Manchester airport as hes away for the weekend. on the way home I'm stopped AGAIN !! this time by greater Manchester force. The officer explains that there is a marker on the car !!! both officers were fantastic really nice and helpful. he asked me to wait in his car with the baby and leave the dog in the car (as dog is friendly and he doesn't mind dogs) as he did a search of the car. once again nothing found out of place. i explain to the officer what had happened earlier in the week. Officer explained what i need to do regarding the marker on the car but OH has to do it as car is in his name (insurance in my name)
I'm annoyed that their is suddenly a marker on the car its a 57 reg golf which we've had from new neither myself or OH are never in trouble with the police.
but I'm so impressed with how nice the greater Manchester force officers were. One even went as far as to apologise for my experience earlier in the week !!
