Spanish Boy arriving next week - EEKK!

What a stunning horse.
May I ask what colour he is? Or simply a chestnut?
He's very much like the colour of an Irish Red Setter dog! But please don't take offence to that, Google and you'll see what I mean ;-)
No wonder you're excited 😊 look forward to updates.

He is just a" plain" old chestnut, but the latest pic makes him look more liver chestnut, I guess it could be the light in the pic.
I haven't met him yet, so will update on his exact colour when he arrives on Wednesday.
This is a pic from his sales post, he does look darker in this one too...
Yes he does look a similar colour to a red setter :-)

Red is red is red

He's chestnut. Actually not a common color in iberian horses

He's on the ferry from Belfast to Liverpool, stopover in Birmingham tonight and the Southbound to me tomorrow - I am beyond excited and nervous too, really can't wait 😁
Sorry a very confused lurker (for the photos and new pony excitment), I thought he was coming from Spain? Is he doing Spain - Ireland - England?

One white sock, keep him till the end.

Looking very happy and relaxed

A lovely open honest face

Wishing you the best of luck with him

I wonder if it is EU related. Mine came from Southern Ireland, but came via Northern Ireland, something to do with EU regs and imports. It made a difference financially, but I have no clue what difference that was. Importing H was all sorted out for me by professionals.

Or it could just be to do with ferry timetables!

Yes, they bring them in through Southern/Northern Ireland so that you don't have to pay duty & VAT. Before Brexit they would bring them in through France. Just a loophole that's used to save ££

Yes, exactly that, just a tax loophole.
Adds a couple of days to the journey though 🤔
