Stable door grill 'V' Stable door mesh advice please

Needing to buy a door grill and we were looking at this standard bar grill https://www.littlefieldsfarm.com/stubbs-door-grille-standard then I read a couple of reviews on the mesh version https://www.littlefieldsfarm.com/me...MIj8CAmsv66gIVWeDtCh27cQ7wEAkYASABEgLPUfD_BwE and its made me think we may be safer with little hooves with a mesh???
What are your thoughts please? I havent seen one in the flesh so dont konw how wide the bars are or how strong the mesh ones are.

I’ve got both types . The mesh grille is pretty sturdy and would be my choice for little feet and/or youngsters.

I’ve got the in fill version of the bar grille, which I use with the V out to dissuade a certain senior mare from even thinking of jumping out of her stable. IMHO pony feet could potentially get caught in between the bars.

is it going to be up permanently or will you be putting up and down?

I have the infill of the bar one for same reason as TP. if that had come in a mesh I would probably have got that for the sake of versatility. I CBA to keep putting it up and down though so the infill version is better for me.

Thank you so much, its for a 2 yr old native as a precaution and wont be up permanently. Its looking like the mesh then. I was worried it would be sturdy enough. Thanks again
