I’ve got both types :). The mesh grille is pretty sturdy and would be my choice for little feet and/or youngsters.

I’ve got the in fill version of the bar grille, which I use with the V out to dissuade a certain senior mare from even thinking of jumping out of her stable. IMHO pony feet could potentially get caught in between the bars.

is it going to be up permanently or will you be putting up and down?

I have the infill of the bar one for same reason as TP. if that had come in a mesh I would probably have got that for the sake of versatility. I CBA to keep putting it up and down though so the infill version is better for me.

Thank you so much, its for a 2 yr old native as a precaution and wont be up permanently. Its looking like the mesh then. I was worried it would be sturdy enough. Thanks again :)
