Standing Martingale

I dont see any bad in using a calmer as such for a horse that is slightly excitable, i have used so kalm and others on Star for XC. As weezy said, doping is something totally different...

if your being coached by a international rider - why are they not advising you? surely they would know?
 
doping....i put my hands up! i can say that i have given flint an ACP tablet, on the advice of someone i respected...needless to say, it DIDNT work. so thought it was a waste of time and haven't done it since and someone suggested Sokalm, which in fact took the bucks etc out of him and didnt hinder his performance, he was still a little on his toes. I'd now school and try to resolve the problem than to dope him up unnecessiarly(sp) waits to be shot down! lol
