i stupidly, despite this being my 8th, cannot remember if we ever starved for 24 hours at 8 / 9 weeks old.
mist is 9 weeks today and has had diarrhoea since i brought her home last weekend. She was checked by the vet and is really bright in herself; vet thought it was just a settling in thing. since the raw puppy complete Natural Instinct id bought for her didnt seem to be doing any good for now, she's been on small meals of cooked chicken breast and probiotic from the vet. however she is still squirty with traces of blood
Im keeping a very very very (!) close eye on her and if she isnt right by Monday will pop back to the vets but in the meantime am wondering about starving her for 24 hours to give her gut a rest. I know we do this with the older dogs but am swithering as she is so young. However this week the poor lass has had the stress of moving and leaving her littermates, being vaccinated and had a 3 day wormer course which just finished yesterday.
