When you first get a gel out seat saver, you will find you have to be rather extravagant when dismounting, or you end up looking rather ungainly as you judder to the ground!

I made the mistake of combining silicone seat jods with a gel out once. I really felt like I'd never get off the horse unless the saddle came with me
The gel out is really secure with all kinds of jods in all seriousness. I find with time silicone seats wear off and suede seats aren't that grippy really. so if you want stickability then the seat saver is a good bet, not everyone likes the feel of it though and I did find it marked light coloured jods eventually.
