Horsey went lame last weekend. Vet came and couldn't find anything but though it was an abscess.
Farrier came on Wednesday and found an abscess, which I have been treating and horsey has been on box rest.
Today, there is no puss but he is still intermitiantly (SP) lame. I dont know if it is 'cos he has a wheel (shoe) missing (he is wuss TB), if there is a further issue or if horses with an abcsess are usually sore after???? Or maybe he has been on box rest so long he has forgotten how his legs work ?
Farrier is coming in Thursay to put a new set on, do I let him come? As I dont know if he is lame as he has a shoe missing???? I have lost the ability to make a decision
