Out of interest who wears a stock for competing? I have always worn one and went out with my friend yesterday who doesn't wear a stock, she's got a nice patterned shirt.
My stock kept getting really loose and didn't actually look that great and its such a faff!

For sj and unaff dressage I don't wear one but eventing I do. It's much easier not having to faff around with one.

For UA SJ, I just wear a shirt with a round collar, for Dressage, either a stock or tie depending on which shirt I'm wearing and the sort of collar it has.

Round here people seem to wear some sort of neck option and if the event is associated with a riding club, they are slightly stricter about turnout.

I used a pre-tied silk stock when I competed (dressage), looked smart and much easier than tying it yourself! I would pin it to my shirt at the bottom with a safety pin and add my own stock pin just for decoration.

This is ideal!! You can put them around any top or t- shirt etc?
Yes, they just Velcro round your neck. I've worn mine with just a sports bra under my jacket before when it's been really warm! But then it's good for putting a warm top under too. I've had mine years and it's washed well and kept its shape.

i also wear a bib or just a really wide stock and pin it to whatever t shirt or layer i have underneath. haven't bothered with a proper stock since eventing days really :p

Never wear a shirt just a stick and jacket… it backfires occasionally when it’s Uber hot and I have to wear a jacket and everyone else is competing in shirt sleeves

How did you order one of these? I looked and couldn’t see where to order, I thought they were all bespoke
I just sent her a message on facebook and she is super helpful if you tell her what you are looking for or search through all her photos and find on you like. Mine arrived today - super quick service and it's lovely!
