Does anyone else get strain injuries in arms/elbows in winter ?

I am sat here with a hot water bottle and have kinesiology taped up my arm/elbow to give support its a horrible nagging pain, which I only seem to get in winter, just wondered if anyone else gets strains in winter ? and how you go about treating and avoiding ?

I and two friends have it fr the first time this year. Plus numb arms randomly at night.

I did wonder if we have had Covid and it is a side effect, as we are all frontline/key workers in Covid type environments, although not diagnosed. Just seems strange, 3 of us, different jobs/houses and the same symptoms.

2 of us think we did have symptoms early on, when sore throat and headache, along with productive cough that lasted months were not considered Covid symptoms, so we weren't tested. The third lives with his wife who did test positive...

We are also all exhausted by the end of the day, far more than normal.

I get this. It’s tendonitis. I have an Incrediware elbow sleeve that helps a lot. I put it on whenever the pain starts up and it’s gone in a few hours.

How strange i have this! I only poo pick as on part livery. I work from home due to Pandemic & assumed was either rsi or maybe shoulder restriction as sat at desk for 8 hours a day. I used a back on track elbow brace when really sore but is now just bit stiff. I can’t straighten my arm fully without discomfort so doing mobilisation exercises

I had an elbow injury one year and the doctor told me to use a piece of tubular bandage sort of folded in from both sides and wear it round my forearm below the elbow. Worked a treat and cheap too.

I find a bit of tubular bandage works well too.

I put it down to more mucking out, particularly when it's cold. I am not even sure it is the mucking out but more the putting it on the muck heap because I have to push my barrow up a small ramp.

I don't know what I did to mine but it was very painful for some time then one day I noticed blood in my fingernails so went to A&E. X-ray showed I had partially pulled the tendon off my elbow, there was a slight bone chip. Doctor demonstrated the forearm strapping which I did for several weeks and it healed fine.
