Strange things you like the smell of...

Hmm...the smell of horse, the smell of cats as well, I love to give them a big sniff! Our foal born this year, I loved the smell of him just after mum had cleaned him off...he smelt like a baby. I love the smell of cornucresine (sp?) lovely stuff that is! :p

Also love the smell of new leather, new cars, whiteboard pens, petrol and the smell of proper coffee brewing.

Petrol
Nail varnish
The smoke when you just blow a match out!
Bonfires and fresh cut grass, both of them remind me of my Dad. :)
Horses in general, but especially on really cold winters evenings when you can see your breath in the air, and you can go into the stable to give them a hug, slide your arms inside their rugs and rest your head on their neck. That's a little bit of heaven right there. :)

Dogs feet, puppies, fresh out the packet inflatable beach balls, Autumn smells: Burning stubble, burning leaves, fresh morning forest after it has rained. Solvent marker pens :o

I love the small of , silage, dairy cows, cornicresine, hot tar, sweaty ponies, new shaving beds, and my hair a day after i have washed it!

Yep, dogs feet (me too), Puppy (toast) breath, Chestnuts (horse) I don't mean conkers. That's chestnuts off the horses legs, My barn when the hay crops in, Oil seed rape flowers, cut grass, Damp woodland, stables, Okay I'll admit it a manured field.

The smell of sheep on my hubby's clothes, diesel, cat's feet (smell like toast!), leather soap, the hamster, new born babies, tinsle and wax crayons (especially Crayola!)

The replacement milk powder to give to calfs - not hand fed calves for years but often have a cheeky sniff when i'm not the feed store.

Glad to hear im not the only one who likes the smell of my dogs feet :D:D:D
I love the smell of bread baking and homemade lentil soup.
I love the smell of my horse right after xc, all sweat and leather.
I love the smell of christmas, that spicy, warm smell and cold crisp winter mornings
The smell of a wood fire on a winter morning.
I'd give anything to smell my old dog who was pts this time last year, i kept her blanket with her smell and took it to bed with me for a couple of weeks after, it really helped me cope :o

pritstix or many different types of glue but not superglue! Petrol or diesel. Damp old concrete rooms(I used to love going to scouts and the scout hut smelt amazing!). Cigar smoke or pipesmoke. The smell of fake bake yum. Felt tips or permanent marker pens.

I love the smell of molasses and I love the horsey smell too. Not so fond of the wet seaweedy pony smell when she's rolled and is covered in wet mud :P I really like the smell of peppermint and also love the smell of marmite.. :D

diesel, which is a good job as i spilt some on my hand this morning! my grandads shed... it's a funny musty oily smell but it's comforting and familiar:o And slighty burnt fruit cake:p tastes good as well:D

I was at a forge yesterday with a non-horsey chap who couldn't stand the smell of hot shoeing. He thought I was very strange when I said I loved it! It's one of those smells that means something different when you associate it with something you love (bit like the smell of horse and puppy generally).
However, I love the smell of two-stroke petrol too! Probably my misspent youth.

love the smell of petrol, fresh cut grass, chopped wood

horsey smell - mane and tail conditioner, riders magic tail lotion, shavings.

I like diesel and petrol, foam rubber, leather, new car, washing powder...

Basically I'm trying to poison myself slowly...

When my daughter was first born up until she was a few months old I couldn't stop smelling her, it was like a drug and I could never get enough.

new born puppies, they smell just like human babies.

I worked with dogs when I was young, and I remember the smell of new-born puppies. That smell is quickly lost to the smells of wee and their mother's licking, but I loved that new-born smell.

I hadn't smelled it for years, until my daughter was born. I don't know why it surprised me that she smelled the same as a new-born puppy! I guess it's the amniotic fluid?

So yes, I sat there in the hospital, sniffing her head. :D I'm sure it helped the bonding.
