I know this has been asked before and I have asked about studs before but I have a Hunter Trial this Sunday and even though the ground is hard I have been told that the course is slippery (and twisty).
So what studs would you use, and could you please put photos or links on so I can see the type you would use???

Thanks in advance,
Jo

There's also these- Mini sharp stud - which are even smaller.

I didn't use any at the weekend and just (attempted to!) took corners a little wider/steadier and didn't slip. Ground was like concrete. I could probably have got away with my mini sharps but didn't want to risk it and she's pretty well balanced and pony like.

Coming to this rather late, but I use both of the studs linked to above when the ground is hard (or, come to that, when it's normal as well) - the tiny ones in front and the others behind.
