Ok, if YOU had injured YOUR back/legs running down hills too fast and ski-ing in the mud in this weather (to the point of rock solid behind withers and swelling behind both front legs), would YOU decide the following morning to chase one of your field mates up and down the aforementioned hills, non-stop, at full pelt canter/gallop, slipping and sliding everywhere in your determination to make them pay for whatever they have done to offend you? Not even stopping when a human turned up to remove said field mate? I had to stand between them and shout at full volume to get her to stop, and even then she tried to nip the poor thing as I was removing it. I have no idea what happened, other than that little pony field mate has injured her back too, but seriously, whatever the cause, is running around non-stop when you've already hurt yourself going to fix anything???? AAARGH!
I would bring her in only she'd do more damage running round in circles in her stable, and I don't have any flat fields. Would be nice if she could just potter around and graze sensibly. I can only hope that with just her and pony she will settle - or it's solitary confinement for both of them at this rate!
