If a horse is bay and white but has a black forelock and tail is it tri coloured or do mane and tail colours not count???? Sorry just dont know what to reply when people ask what colour my new horse is????
My friend has a tri coloured horse but when she applied for his passport she was told there was no such colour as a tri coloured and he is down as a skewbald.
Your horse is bay with tobiano gene giving her the white patches. As we dont call solid bays bi-coloured, I dont see what we call bay tobianos tri-coloured over here. She's a bay tobiano
Definitely bay skewbald - I've had 2!
Tri coloured is only if they have 3 coat colours - don't think I've ever actually seen one nor can I imagine hopw it would come about.
She looks lovely
Skewbald IS tricoloured. Anything other than black and white is skewbald. SO she is tricoloured, but would be passported as skewbald. Mine is the same as Calli, but has black points, so TECHNICALLY has 3 different colours on his coat....
