I am joining BD next year, with a view to doing the Gypsy Cob league at Intro. Today I found out that there is a new Intro Test C, so I will have 3 tests to learn rather than just 2!

I've already ordered it, and the new Prelim 2 just in case!

Is it wrong to be really excited about this? :D

Rodbaston have it listed for their competition at the beginning of January, so I phoned BD to order. It's only just come in and isn't listed in the shop yet. I asked if there were any more new ones, which is how I got the Prelim 2.

Nope but in your position I'd be too impatient to wait until next year.... ;)

I don't want to wait - but my lorry failed it's test and is off being repaired. And we've only ever done 2 Intro tests, so I'd like a bit more practise before we affiliate! I don't want us to look like idiots, and I have previous form... lol

Oo that's great- I will give them a call!

Cool! :)

Pretty pony pic from our first ever test! No jacket as it was absolutely boiling, and yes, I forgot to put my gloves on... oops... won't be doing that at BD!

I'm doing the gypsy cob champs this year. I'm looking forward to it more than any other BD shows 😊

I really hope it's a success and also hope they'll extend it next year (maybe more levels and music classes)

Remember to tuck your shirt tails in too! :D

Just looks tidier and more professional and if it helps earn even one more mark by improving the general impression, then it's worth it! :)

Good luck for next year.

Yay that's brilliant! Your pony is stunning. (and yours HairyOne!)

I agree, you should do some over the winter ;) Don't worry about looking like an idiot, that's par for the course with dressage - it's character building! I delayed going BD for ages, and so glad I've finally bitten the bullet and done it. Even though we do look like right idiots most of the time!

Normally my jacket would cover the shirt tails - I couldn't tuck them in as *whispers* I hadn't worn my jods for ages and they wouldn't do up *blush* :D

I'll definitely do more unaffiliated once the lorry's back, but BD membership runs from January doesn't it? I want the whole year to chase those two over 60% test sheets! :)
