Anyone got one? Thinking of getting one as they are made to measure and one of my boys is difficult to fit! Can't see any prices on their website - I'm guessing at £1800 (am I anywhere close?!)
You're close!
I have a price list at home, can can it in an email it to you leter on if you like? Either that or email the Sue Carson people and get them to send you one out...
I competed in my friends Sue Carson the other week. It was very very impressive. I was immediately put into the correct position and I didn't move! my horse moved freely and probably the best she's ever gone. It's the best dressage saddle Ive ever ridden in!
Also these saddles are made to measure your horse on the underneath and made to fit you on the top. They also have those removeable blocks.
Yes they are around the £1800 but it would be the best £1800 you'll ever spend! - I would if I could afford it!
They also do event saddles too which I'd quite like to have a go in.
I have a dressage & jumping one for my youngster.
He was v difficult to fit as he has a v high wither & slightly odd back confirmation
They were great. Spent a lot of time trying different tree's & shapes & then made one that fitted both of us (I'm 6' tall, so also not easy to fit either!)
The beauty is that the air flocking means it can be adjusted to fit perfectly. As they change shape you can adjust the air. Plus if they change shape very dramatically you can change the head (much cheaper than having to buy a new saddle)
He goes very well in it & I'm very pleased.
You are right, they are £1800, so not cheap, but I feel mine were well worth it
hi have one!!..your about right on the price so they are not the cheap end of the market..I love my saddle it has helped enourmously with my position and Becky Whitcombe who fitted and sold it to me was very thorough. pm me if you want more info
Iv got one, its great as the air can be altered. WHen we first got it, i was still having wok done on my back so still tilted my pelvis, so one side was just pumped up more than the other. I love mine so comfortable.
xx
When I got my horse he had been ridden in a SC saddle as he has withers which are high and set back. I had horse and saddle on trial for a month and was immediately convinced! So I bought the horse and a new SC saddle and it was the best small fortune I have spent. The saddle is very comfortable for him and me and I have not had a bad back since! Thoroughly recommend them! www.petsinmemoriam.co.uk
Oh that sounds good - I suffer with a back problem too! On their website one of the reps is not far from me so I just sent her a text and asked if it was ok for me to call her at 5.30pm to ask all about it! Hope my neddie will like it! I feel out of balance in my current saddle :-(
