Thanks again for the sympathy guys, Boo is feeling much happier this morning as she is on maximum bute dosage and it is raining heavily, so Tills and Pancake have stayed in which means she has company at least!
KVS - wishing you loads of luck that you get your diagnosis.
vicm - I have been following poor Baron's story, can't imagine how frustrated you must feel!
Zalacca - better luck for this summer, and lets hope last July was a freak event!

Countrygal - in my case, it's not a case of sticking with horses that are permanently on box rest - I avoid box rest like the plague unless it is an only option as I think it is one of the worst things you can do to a horse (other than stabling 24/7 for no reason at all, but that is a whole other rant!). With me I think it is a case of having more horses increases the odds of something going wrong, and in this case two somethings have decided to coincide
