Survey on Equine Welfare

Thank you for doing the survey!?
"Hacking" can be included in trekking, but I am aware that some words couldn't be translated literally from Italian to English.
Yes, crouched meant in sternal recumbency so lying on the belly with legs tucked in.
Do you mean like a saddle fitter? Eventually it could be written in the following question.

It would be helpful to you to have the English version of your survey proof-read/trialled by a native English speaker, which would solve some of the problems that your English speaking participants are having.

I must say, that your response to many posters of 'you can do a separate survey for each individual horse' is rather taking for granted that busy people are prepared to spend a long time contributing to your research, which is hardly going to have much, if any, benefit to the welfare of posters' horses. I know that your work is important to you but it really isn't to us, although many of us do try to complete these surveys to help students.

Sorry OP I gave up on this where it asked for "groupings". I'm a YO and we have a mixed group of mares & one gelding, and I'd have had to start all over again just for the gelding.

Sorry but I cannot be arsed to be honest! Got better things to do.

Also I think from the spelling and way of wording of this survey that it is geared to the American system: for instance what the heck is "Morphology"??? New one on me.

Think you need to re-jig this for the UK equestrian scene.

It was done by one of my American horse friends, but maybe she was influenced by the Italian version.
The answer to participants who own a small group of horses (2 or more) "you can choose to do a separate survey for each individual horse" is also followed by "but I know it takes time, and it is not mandatory". I'm aware that the survey is sometimes difficult to complete and it is okay to not arrive to the end.
Thank you.

It's okay, thank you so much for trying!
Morphology is the external physical description of an equine, in Italy there are competitions regarding it.
