Well its the last day of the week - hurray

!! Just a bit of work to wade through before the weekend - will be off out in a bit to scare some clients.........

Will be back later as I am off to have a lesson @ the yard where the big grey lump comes from - my RI is away now for nearly a fortnight so am trying to keep up the momentum!!

Is an ok day

Am currently babysitting my daughter as she's decided to bake cakes (at 9am!!!)

Have already been and turned out / mucked out (first day back on DIY - bit of a shock!)

Day is a bit

but can't make up it's mind if it wants to be

Not much doing otherwise today - it's the last day of my holidays and I'm a bit gutted......

I love this sweet FA post everyday! I get into work and the first thing I do is check to see if the sweet FA post is going! I'm having a shredding day at work today as the piles of shredding are preventing me working! (oh dear!)

Later after work, I will school Jasper as long as it isn't too muddy in the field!! Untangle dreadlocks in shetland and groom my lovely old mare before heading to cinema!!

Mrs M, put your feet up and don't feel guilty!!!

I've been nursing my sore feet all week!!! Work again tomorrow, and I have to stand on them all day! It's not the standing up that does it, it's the standing!!! Have to try and walk somewhere, or do something to move. Someone suggested rocking from the balls of my feet to my heels, think I'll try that!!

Oh, and I have to wear sensible shoes!!! How I love my riding boots...why can't I wear those!!

Tense your calves m'duck - helps to keep the circulation going. I have to do it otherwise I fall over if I have to stand up for too long

. Also drink lots of water, helps to get rid of any retention and will help to stop achey ankles.

well i got home this morning to find they had all escaped lil bu**ers.
so no fresh grass for them tonight.
its pis*ing down with rain here.
tried grazing muzzle on again today but hes just stood there, hadon for nearly 2hours not sure if hes just full from his escapee last night or thinks im trying to starve him.

Lol, LL can't cope with a grazing mask either

He stands with his head down and doesn't eat - he lost so much weight in two and a half days! Now he goes out for a day and night and then in for a day and night, seems to be working at keeping the weight off (and the laminitis at bay)

Im sat at home waiting for the half hour call to say vet is on way, then mad rush to yard before vet arrives!

Ive already been up mucked out both stables, got one ready for tonight yay organised for once!!
Walked the dog and just had some coco rocks for breakfast!!

Now its raining again!!

Had to drop the car off to the garage to day have work done and for MOT, so more out of the horsey fund!!
Got a call from mechanic to say I had been given the wrong flippin' brake dics.... GRRR!!! It NEEDS brake badly too!!!
It was heavily raining earlier which is not great as I may need to walk home due to no car!!

I give up!!

omg just had a complete blond moment.
was driving along road which had alot of rain water on but stupid me forgot to shut window and as other car drove past i got abit wet. talk about derrr!!!

altho i would like to point out i did quickly shut window before i got any wetter!!

look on the brightside ldlp - at least cars don't have the old style sunroofs anymore where you took the sunroof out completely so there was no quick closing if it rained!! OMG - that makes me feel soooooooo old!!

Well I'm just back for a cuppa and a sit down

- have done my food shopping today and just discovered something had died in the salad box in the bottom of the fridge.

........so just had to clean and disinfect it all...........

We are having lots of heavy showers

- glad my lesson is in an indoor today as I'm fed up with getting wet!!

yes very heavy at times had some thunder and lightening earlier as well.

just took muzzle off fatty and he instantly started stuffing his face.

Not had any for a week so am surpised I'm not writing this on the celing!

Still sat on sofa and still not done anything - I keep thinking it's Saturday lol. I think it's m'body's way of chilling and relaxing before Life Begins Again!

!! You can afford lessons just as you and Dizzy are mended!!

That should help you get your mojo back - and give you something to work towards!!

ldlp - you either have to tough it out with your fatty and ignore him with his muzzle on or go for the stabled option - is he on a very restricted grazing??

no in with others but not alot kept fairly short and i give them some grass at night.

well ill see how it goes with muzzle for now, altho did have a fairly snotty nose when i took it off. either that or i do him his own little paddock, im sure he'll love that!!

His own little paddock might be the best thing as that way you know he is getting nothing in the way of grass and you can always soak him some hay which will help shift his weight!!
