Slinky - really hope your neice is ok, and that those boys get more than their comeuppances (sp?). Shame she has to miss her lesson but with a bit of patience she'll be right as rain and ready to ride in no time hopefully

Thanks JS - she is just upset at missing her lesson as the horse is on a fortnights trial so she was trying to do everything to get a real feel for her.
I know what you mean about early nights but i find the drink helps.....

we've had that the last week, its the house spiders coming in for the winter, we put them back out and they come back in, only way to rid is squash em but can't to any live thing, apart from horse flies

Its at the National Showground which is in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire. Birmingham is the nearest airport to the show but East Midlands is not far and its near me so dropping off etc can be sorted!

I'm the same I'd never kil one but I'll not lie to you I have never seen anything this huge spi wise - is there a new breed or is it cause its milder - my heart won;t cope - the ONLY thing in the world I am scared of adn its a Spi - can't even say the word.

I'm back again now!!! Been on the phone to sis, seems BIL was pretty lucky, not his fault, another driver!!!
Anyway, sorry to everyone stuck in the queue this morning!! I believe it caused a back up all the way to the M5 and M6!!!
So, Slinky I hope those kids get the book thrown at them and that their parents are involved!! Absolutely disgusting, and especially as she was doing so well on the loan pony
Could you ask to extend the trial? seeing as it's it's exceptional circumstances!!
tikino - I'm really glad Toby is ok, I know it will be a bit difficult getting his diet straight, but thankfully, the feed companies are being to realise intolerances now and doing some good stuff!!

I think the trial will be extended anyway - due to owners accident!!
The good thing is she had at least got a few rides in and had jumped her etc so has an idea of her. Just so annoying as she was really enjoying it and was hoping to do a ODE on her in Nov. Have told her the 2 weeks is just the quack being cautious and she will probably be riding again before then
. Glad your BIL is ok - those crashes in the tunnels are nasty and always cause mahoosive jams!!
JS - I know hat you mean - most days when I am out driivng I see so many near misses - like the old farts today careering around a roundabout to go on to a big A road - oblivious to any other cars and doing about 30 when everyone else was doing at least 60!!

Well they don't have an evening performance on the Sunday night, so, about six, maybe seven by the time you get out of there. Then you need to have a quick wee dram with us, then get to airport/train and scuttle back up again!!
I would love to offer you a place to put your head down, but don't know if we'll be in this house then!! Alternatively I can offer a mobile home bed at the yard, but it's bl**dy cold in November!!!
