Hello all,
Really have to sort out a photobucket account and learn to post photos. My mission for this weekend - as well as going to the rugby tonight, a lesson on sat followed by getting a grey horse clean, dressage on Sun and squeezing seeing all the family that have come to visit my sister and new niece in somewhere as well! Have just lost a whole document I've been working on all morning as well due to stupid IT problems in work so I have to go and start that again now.

I am leaving them out as according to the local forecast it isn't going to be to bad here and I have time to clean him up in the morning - we have to leave at 11am.

Other than that I have taken the lorry for a drive so I am ready for tomorrow, have bought a 4x4 and had coffee and bacon sarnies with friend! Just need to feed the beasties and then pick up neices and some washing powder then tack cleaning tonight and getting stuff ready for tomorrow!!

Hello again everyone.

It's cold here but no rain as of yet *crosses fingers*. Supposed to get worse later but doubt it will be as bad as it sounds where all you lot are!

Just realised that as I'm going to a friend's engagement party on saturday night I might not be in any fit state to ride on sunday morning. Hmm. Will still have to go up and feed and put out if I'm not riding, this could be difficult. I've never had to juggle social life and horses before, not too sure how to go about it

I'm telling you now, it will be the other way around.. f_s is like the dead in the morning! However I'm normally quite talkative after about an hour.. hence I normally only get up for college 40-50 mins before I have to drive there!

Don't worry even star is out in this with no rug, went and checked them not long ago and they are happily munching at bottom of field out of the hurricane

I think that's the problem, I haven't checked them as I didn't go to work, so I am worrying! The YO will be feeding/checking them though so he should let me know if there is a problem.

I'm going up first thing in the morning to sort the barn out, at the moment they can use it but they are standing on concrete, I'm going to change the gates around to make it bigger and put some straw down. Hopefully that will encourage them to use it more.

Pixie is in a different field though that only has natural shelter, shes fat and hairy though so she should be OK. I don't have a rug to fit her so she will have to be

Mine are all out in this as well. They will be fine, it's not cold, just very wet and windy. It's when it's freezing, wet and windy that they need more shelter, and rugs.
