yup I managed to skive off conference yesterday and do a whistle stop touristy bit. Also like their public transport and the fact that several of the museums count up to 26 as a concession!

landing tonight was less fun

slinks I ate enough anyway conference always = lots of food!!

customer service not bad really, mostly really good just the odd person less so! I do think I woke the night boy up at 3am requesting a bed elsewhere, anywhere so I could sleep!

There is a couple of lovely smiley ladies who work the old lift up and down to the hotel! There is someone doing jobs you wouldnt even think existed like swiping your card in to the baths! I suppose a throw back to the old days.

Did the tourist thing after the first session on thursday and went up to the huuuuuugggggeeeeee square up by the city park and then went across the other way up to the castle hill and took some fab pics. Rest of the time I got to sit inside the marriot

When I flew back from Turkey in the summer it was chucking it down with rain and the lightening was lighting up the whole plane (it was night time)

torquay has palm trees so it must be abroad!

I had a conference there too, one of the less exotic ones it was february and bloody freezing!
 
I had food poisoning on the flight back from Venice... it decided to all come up just as we were approaching the run way... Sid (my ex) caught some sick in his hands (serve him right hahaha) before I continued to through up all own me, all down the aisle and into the toilet... I was so embarassed

they couldn't land the plane till I sat back down - it was absolute hell. The poor passengers!! They didn't have a sick bag anywhere in sight!
