Seriously though mine is caused by me being rather deaf and not very good in noisy places and to add meeting new peeps on top of that and I'm a bit argghhh

Me neither, I've always been very shy

I hate the thought of meeting people off here though as I feel like I won't be what they expect, I'm stupidly tall, ugly and getting chubby around the sides

I really should go to somewhere like YHL to get you all out of the way all in one go (meant in the nicest possible way

), but I would be terrified

I can so relate to that HC2. I am trying not to get any preconceived ideas about the folks I'm going to be meeting but aware of my own (many) shortcomings

I never have but have 'lightly' discussed it with a couple of users, I'm just to bloody useless to commit to anything

It's ridiculous really!

That's another reason I haven't joined FB yet, I haven't kept in touch with any people from school and find getting back in touch with them (which is bound to happen on FB) far too scary! No hope for me is there
