Samstar are you off all week? If so, you can definitely afford to relax for the first day.
I will have a cuppa with you Slinky as I'm absolutely freezing! Everyone else in the office is wearing short-sleeved tops and I am in a big wooly jacket, must just be me!
Though it was lovely being up the yard this morning. There's only two other people on DIY and I get there before them so it's lovely and quiet, occassionally Pam comes out to say hello (she's YO's mam and lives on-site) and it's brill, got my flask of tea to keep the fingers warm. Lush!

Been to the yard and tried to clip Puzzle!!! Well, that wasn't happening was it!!!!
P_P got two patches done at either side!!!
Ah well, tomorrow is another day!!
Now I have her at my mercy, she's going to sort out those flamin' rugs!!!

Just having Lunch and am then off to look after the little horrors
Will be riding and mucking out whilst at work though so time should go very fast. Need to clip the fluffy Grey pony sometime this week but I have been delaying it for as long as possible, his hairs seem to get places no other hairs can
Hopefully I will be able to borrow a computer for my HHO Fix later but if not hope you all have a good day and see you tomorrow

I've finally managed to get my rug list sorted out, and now am busily washing an proofing the ones that need it!!!
What a job, but it has to be done!!
The weather has been nice here today, so I'm hoping it will hold out for the week
Quick question - Does anyone know how much ACP to give a mini shetland for clipping? Don't want him to keel over, but don't want to give him too much or too little ( I am aware of the dangers btw). He's about 100kgs (little tubby) but is so hot he can hardly breathe and needs to let a bit of air in!!

well arena has just been built and lady is hiring it out
and friend just told me about a farmer who actually doesnt mind you cantering on edge of his crop fields
so there is some nice people out there
both these places are in roughly same area altho would be 15-20min hack but thats ok plenty of warm-up time
trying to book my trailer test and there is one for tomorrow but cant get hold of instructor to check he's free

It's getting dark already! Boo! I'm at work till 6, by the time I get to the yard it'll be pitch black, cue me hunting around in the dark for my horse with a torch, lucky she's grey. Though it could still take a while - field is 25 acres.

I just found out my friends at the yard aren't leaving me to go to another yard, yippee! If they'd gone I'd have no-one to ride out with, and no-one to go on the sponsored rides with. Phew

Evening all first day of my hols went really quick, my snoopy is coming home tomorrow from stud at last , seems to me she as been away for longer. Booked the farrier out to sort her feet out as snoopy likes her pedicure, will be weird not clipping her this winter. Got to go and buy her a maternity rug she deserves one as she is a very good girl . OOOh i have missed her roll on to moz

Maybe everyone is panicking about fireworks because som eejits are starting now.
PLEASE CAN I HAVE A 'SPECIAL ROSETTE' PLEASE.
i have been the bravest brave person in the World.
Today is National Spooky 17hh Gelding day.
We went for a hack and in a very narrow lane a farmer was cutting hay the other side of a very small hedge with the Biggest scariest tractor I have ever seen and he must have been in a hurry as I swear blind he was going at 90 mph (ok maybe 30). The Big Lump was wound up as tight as a drum.
Now here is the Rosette request bit - when we got back we went in the school for a canter and someone opened a bale of Haylage the other side of the school wall and banged it.
The Big Lump belted off around the school like a massive pogo stick on acid, broncing at every stride, and I didnt come off! I didnt even lose balance. Hoorah!!
This is the Great lump who has happily stood in his Hotel while the man outside dug up concrete, Laid drains used heavy noisy machinery etc!!

I keep my mobile phone on but its often in the Glove Compartment. I mostly use it for ringing OH and asking for a cup of Tea as soon as I get in.
OH always has his phone off unless he wants to make a call.
