Ugh morning....

Am feeling like poo, maybe I have what slinky has! Hope you're feeling better slinky! Still, off to teach I go, and then straight from work to pony, who I have decided can have the day off again today.

Where did half term go? I'm more tired after it than I was before!

Morning all i missed yesterday on the forum but pooter or forum was playing up ?.
Hope all you poorly folk feel better soon off to do the poorly pony in a min got the vet coming again tomorrow.
slinks give me 1 hour and i will put my clowns outfit on and entertain you with my balloon dogs and custard pies.
Am also back to work this week was up at 6am yuk !

I had promised to go into work today ( i work in a school and it's an INSET day) BUT....as i don't get paid for it and i'm not contractually obliged, and it's a nice day ,i've decided against that crazy idea and i am going to play with my horses instead!
Going to take my little girl out for a hack on her pony with her little pal who is also on an INSET day, and then have an Equine Shiatsu (SP) practitioner coming to see my horse as she has been suffereing with tension through her back...never used one before so should be interesting!

I have a day off YESSSSSSSSS thoroughly need it as well, my 4 x 12 hour shifts turned into 2x 13 hours and 2x 14 hours
and I have an absess under my molar which has infected my throat so I have also been unable to eat or swallow

Just been up to put the horses out and they were very well behaved considering they were stabled by 1pm yesterday due to the horrendous weather. So that's a good start to the day. Housework to do and then to chip away at the assignment before I start night shifts tomorrow.

Morning all, today is my one day off sandwiched in between 8days of work...so I have alist as long as my arm of things I want to get done!

Need to go collect rug from cleaners & return one that wasn't fixed

I need to get to the gym, I want to hack out and I need to go buy my mum a birthday pressie, card and wrapping paper...all before hockey training tonight.

Think I'm going to be a busy bee today!
 
YO told all of us to put horses in the stables yesterday, so she was in by 10am and then I put her back out at 8.30am this morning, when we'd finally found YO to ask which field they were going in.
So poor Roo has been stuck in a stable for like 22 hours, yet being an absolute star, strolled to the field in her usual laid back manner.
So last night and this morning, were my first times mucking out a bed of wood pellets. And WOW, they are fab. so much easier then straw

Morning all,

Got the afternoon off (well from 3.30pm) so I went up to do the horses this morning, went for a quick ride on Charlie and mucked 2 out stables.

Met the YO friend whilst out riding and she asked how Millie and Charlie were after Saturday night, I was like Huh?

Apparently they let fireworks of really close to the stables (I knew they were having fireworks but was told they would be down in the valley) and Charlie and Millie were really upset by them. Millie was shaking like a leaf and A though she was going to come over the stable door

No wonder Millie hadn't eaten anything when I went up there yesterday morning, she obviously didn't get to have the quiet night she needed after Saturdays Accident

Thankfully A stayed with them as she was more concerned about the horses then watching the fireworks!

It's Bl00dy freezing in the office today, think its warmer outside! I'm literally sat on the heater and I'm still cold

I haven't been too cross with her though, as Kodak decided to run the other way (big nasty harrow had moved) when P_P was bringing him in, so she is now sporting a cut finger!!
