and yup - i'd love to be a house wife, but i'm yet to find a man willing enough to work lots - so i never see him, and pay for me to do nothing!! rubbish!!

it was like the question today "why do you want to leave your current job?" naturally i replied next step for me, passionate about the industry blah blah... but really i wanted to tell him; cos the company, no wait manager!! treats people unfairly and hasn't sorted out pay or contracts for 7 months! but thought I best save that for the 2nd interview

Hmmm....I got a bit fed up in my interview for this job - my soon to be manager was asking what I considered to be f*ckwit questions and I lost patience with him and told him so - figured I'd been made redundant so had nothing to loose but really wasn't going to be asked stupid questions anymore. He asked me 'If I give you the job how do I know you aren't going to leave in 6 months?' My reply was 'I am 40 years of age - do really think I need to put myself through this every 6 months? Besides which as you have just made me redundant how do I know you aren't going to make me redundant again in 6 months?' There were several other f*ckwit moments that got equally short answers

......still I got the job and I am still here...........

Well done!! They do ask stupid questions!!

Way before the equal opportunities/discrimination acts etc, I was asked in a job interview " So, what type of child care would you be using if you went to work?"

My reply, "Child care shouldn't be an issue, as I am sure I have covered all situations, just as my male colleagues would "

Would he have asked that question to a man....hell, no!!!!

I got the job!!

As I get older and have done more interviews as well as interviewing people I get really fed up of the stupid questions!!

I try not to ask any of the questions I consider stupid when interviewing and have to bite my tongue when being interviewed and not be too sarcastic when I answer - but it is sooooooooooo difficult sometimes!!

And to be honest some people I just don't want to work for so don't hold back!!

One of my friends was interviewed by a moron from hell last week - interviewed lasted 15 mins - at least 10 mins longer then I would have given him

- to say she was short with him was an understatement - he managed to be ageist, sexist and racist in that time

- when she spoke to the agency that sent her there he had said in her feedback that she scared him sh*tless!!!

That will teach him to mess with a stroppy old woman!!

I think, the older I get the less tolerant I become, and it's rather scary!!!

Years ago, I would have accepted stupid questions and just answered them, now I find myself just feeling contempt!!

I suppose the more I see of life, the more I think, I don't have time for this, I've more important things to do!!!

I really must get out more!!!

Talking of getting out more...I was wondering where the meet up point will be for YHL?? Any suggestions?
