For once I am actually glad the weekend's over! Morning everyone!

Just about to head off to work, then off to see little madam in her new home (I only teach for an hour Monday mornings!). They're going to put a haynet in for her to shut her up until I get there, and I am not sure what I'm going to find in the stable.... When I left she hadn't even STEPPED onto her bed. With any luck she'll have poo'ed off of it!

So far I have fed the neds and walked the dogs am just having brekkie and a cuppa - my first day off work!! Will be off out to ride in a bit and then a quick trip to the feed shop and then back to do housework and poo pick!!

Morning everyone.

Had a good weekend, rode out on our own on sat and she was so well behaved, and sunday we had just a little toddle out with a friend. Definitely definitely schooling twice after work this week, whether I want to or not.

Tis my last day off before a marathon, my boss is away so I am left in charge whilst they get off to India! Its also my mums birthday 2day so when she gets back home we'll be spending the day together.\

Morning Sweet FA
Have been to the yard, I swear its taking me longer to finish at the yard every day.
I'm the only one who sweeps the yard, which has to be fully swept everyday.
One of the liveries mucks out and walks off, and the witch sat on the mounting block watching me sweep this morning, she does annoy me!
Going to ride Bramble today, her owner has turned her out in a headcollar, so that I can catch her later.

the morning didn't start well

on the way there the 'L' plate flew off, supposed to be magnetic we only hit 35!!

so had to walk along main road nearly getting run over in process to get it back!!

then stuck in alot of traffic didn't think i was gona get there in time

Congrats ldlp!!!

I'm just back from the yard. Was pleased to find madam had not wrecked the joint, poo'ed mostly off of her bed, and had led down so can't have been too stressed! Took her out for a very short hack (15/20mins round the block just to get her out) and she was snorty but good. Hardest thing was shutting the yard gate.

When we got back the little ones came trotting up the field calling to her, and the yearling went straight over to her to sniff noses. The 6 month old very much wants to attach to her I think, but is a bit wary at the moment...

Glad those who aren't feeling well are feeling better!

Congrats ldlp111 I am so glad I never had to take this test.

Did the lump first thing and surprised him by introducing new morning routine. No turnout so:

Arrived at yard free school available so stuffed his huffiness into a LW turnout rug (to keep him clean) as he grunted Breakfast Now! Turned him out and he squealed in temper and raced off. Waggled a lunge whip at him and all 17hh challenged me and did a half rear and stomped off. Used the Good Boy phrase a lot to indicate this was a game and he could enjoy it. Hope that by end of week he will recognise his new routine and enjoy it.

Loose schooled for a bit and then mucked out.

Gave him brekky as soon as he returned to his house then enough Haylage to last him until Wednesday even though I'll be back at 3.

Then I got home stuffed breakfast down and went and did 3 hours gardening in light drizzle.

God how do you guys with real full time jobs and kids manage I feel like I need a little lie down now.

Bad news is my knee hurts I found this out when I chased the cat up and down the stairs in a game called "I'm gonna get you' that she loves as I had neglected our early morning run around the house with string!
