not got any pictures of him yet as forgot to take some he is 15h3 chestnut gelding clydesdale x tb. i anm picking him up on tuesday so will get some pictures of him then to share. i only went up to the yard my friend keeps her horse at to DO her horse and ended up buying him. He is in poor condition but i will sort it as becoming an expert in that department. Like i have time for another one with uni, placements work and the horses i already have esp toby.

i have had such a shitty time lately and had a big barney with my vet when he refused to come out to toby on wednesday night saying he was no longer able to treat toby as i took him to the vet school and therefore it was there case.needless to say it was the worse thing he every done as i made a formal complain to the practice manager and also reported him to rcvs he is going to be one sorry vet.

tikino - why won't the vet come out to him, surely the referred Toby to the vet school to start off with??

O tikino - I hope it gets sorted with your vet! Is there another practice you could use? I have moved from the big well known vets practise here to another who is IMO opinion better! It was after not only misdiagnosing on 4 seperate occaisions on 3 different horses but their attitude stank!! I think they need reminding who pays the bills sometimes!

yes but he was not happy with him going cause he wanted to do more tests and it was one of the other vets that refered him.

i only phoned him because he was soaking in sweat again and reps were at 27. had to phone the on call vet at vet school for advice and got him settled and another vet came out the next day. i spoke to the senior partner who was dealing with it but i felt as it is against there code of conduct and my horse is seiously ill it could have been fatal to his treatment hence the reason why i roported him to RCVS

i will be moving practices once this think with toby settles down but need continuity for toby so i now have a lovely vet looking after him and have her own personal mobile number. New boy will be nice once he has weight on him. teeeth and wormed first port of call on wednesday.
