I am so incredibly happy - Ted has turned around. We happily cantered over poles and then built the jumps up slowly... thought it best to leave it on a good note! But I am so so happy considering when he came to me in June he couldn't go over a pole without spooking resulting in spinning round/napping and rearing.
Maybe we will make BE one day. So so happy!!
Looking forward to the photos HC!
How's the trailer practising going idlp? I plan to do mine at some point next year... eeeek!
mmmhmmm feeling the need for a drink! Maybe not a stiff one though...
Apart from checking herself out in the mirrors when she came into the school she wasn't bothered about a thing - just tootled around and did her job. Neice v pleased and trying to decide whether to do Trailblazers jumping next weekend or Oli Townened Eventer Challenge.
I am sticking to dressage
- if I manage to get there and get on board I will consider it an achievement!!
There was a horse there today doing the introductory show dressage - was a Prelim test and the poor girl was having a shocking time - horse going sideways etc, left the ring through the boards at one point and was doing it all in canter - just different speeds!!
I just got a phone call from the yard asking whether they can take my rent out via direct debit
Which is fine , I'm just wondering whether it's a bit of a moan because I've always paid my rent in 2 monthly blocks..meaning that by the end I'm one month behind but I've done that for nearly 2 years now and no ones complained.. hm, oh well. Makes my payment book tidier
Hi all,
I've had a good day, Roo had a full clip done, half way through the first side and the blades stopped working, so we had to do a quick drive to tack shop to buy new ones.
I rode tonight, and Neil came down, he started teaching me, and within seconds Roo was working better, he's a fab teacher!
She wouldn't go into canter so I picked up a twig from the floor, and then she just ran haha. So we went back to walk, got the nice walk back and then stopped.
I'm going to a bonfire tonight
We have only had Molly on loan for just over a month! For the first 3 weeks her owner was still doing a couple of team chases so we have only had her doing stuff for my neice for about a fortnight. She is lovely, has been there and got the saddlecloth!! She was in the National Team for the Tetrathlon with Pony Club - she has sj in the past and is a demon X Country.
Just been looking through my photos, and found these
Thought I would share.
This dog (Megan) is VERY insecure, she's the worst state we've ever got a rescue in. Took nearly a year owning her to get her to relax like this
She is also fear agressive, and after about 18 months we have finally managed to introduce her to a dog that isn't ours
Male collies tend to look fat. They are big and furry, unfortunately I have all bitches except 2, so they are all small. One is a weedy little dog because he wasn't brought up well and the other is a typical big border collie
I'd post pics of all mine, but I have 10 so would take a while lol
