hi all
have done all 3 stables complete muck outs today
had 3 wheelbarrows of muck to push to top of field
started to tidy tackroom
got loads of numnahs and girths to wash
am just charging mp3 player to listen to, did wana load more songs onto it but sister cant find cd!!

Got to the yard this morning to find Tops COVERED in hay!! All in her mane and well everywhere!! Silly mare! Wished i had my camera with me it was HILARIOUS!!
Jumping my friends TB today... bit nervous!! 16.1hh is big compared to my 16.1hh!!

I promised a photo to make you smile today.
So I have had a bit of a wonky fed-up week and my OH went off to see his Mum the other day. I had a hair appointment and he knew I might forget so he left me a note sort of :-
Nina is my hairdresser and this apparently is her getting ready to chop my hair off. Excuse the spelling he tends to leave out unecessary letters (in his opinion)

Had a busy morning, been to collect a parcel and a prescription then walked the dog and rode. Haven't ridden for a few weeks so thought I'd just take him on a short ride as he's not that fit since coming back to work. I took one of the new girls on the yard with me to show her the way.
It normally takes 30 minutes but today it took 15 and we did the whole thing sideways! I think the combination of feeling better, a new horse to show off to and feeling very fresh after not being ridden for a while meant it was all very exciting. It was a lovely feeling as he's felt quite flat after coming back into work as he's always going out alone, he can't manage the long hacks the others do yet. Weather held off but now chucking it down so am settled in front of the fire to watch the rugby. Lovely Saturday

P_P actually managed to fit in some riding today!!
Kodak was a really good boy, and she went over a few jumps, which he loves

Well I am SOAKED. Had riding club rally today so hacked up there and met up with a friend from the old yard enroute, which took her about half an hour, and me an hour with the extra mileage. Had a REALLY good flatwork lesson which got Genie back on her hocks more, even if we got soaked, and then another hour back home... Got back and was walking a bit oddly after 3 hours in the saddle (!) but pony was VERY good and I had a really good time. It was lovely meeting up with my friend, and just us two in the rally which was a big bonus.
How's everybody here? I assume it's wet for all of you lot as well?

- just popping round to sisters to wind neice up
- she 14 and going to her first hunt ball so is flapping she hasn't got enough time to get ready!!
Isn't leaving until 7pm.......funny that isn't it?
When you are young and need no help to look good it takes you all day but when you are older (like me!!
) and need all the help you can get you can get ready in 15 minutes!!

It's so wet here
Decided against riding but will HAVE to ride tomorrow!
Just ordered some replacement boots online so my damaged ones are going back to DH. You were right Slinks, getting them repaired is silly!
Did any one watch Kauto Star run? He did so well, didn't think he had won though as it was a VERY close finish!
We have two boxes of All Gold open (a dark and a Milk) so help yourselves
