ugh my sister has got to be the most selfish person ever!!

she has been using pick-up all week and used most of fuel I paid for but hasnt replaced asked her 4 times now!!

she asked earlier if she could use it again i said yes as long as bring it back with half a tank

she said not sure if using it yet so i replied well when are you gona replace fuel incase i go to show tomorrow

she hasnt replied i mean really how f*cking selfish

on the up side have tidied tack room and washed 2 saddlecloths, 2 numnahs and 2 girths

gonna go over countrywide shop if it's open and have a nosey

am so peeved hate my sister!!!

Well today I've had one of those days where I remember why I ride

Went to the yard and it wasn't raining so I dragged the mares in to do some work. I decided to do trot poles with them.
I got on Bramble and she was just threatening to buck everytime I asked her to do something, but I persevered and as I'd already decided I was going to, I did some trotting poles.
She went through them really nicely so I changed them for canter poles, first time the head went up and I thought "Oh no, she's gonna be a pain" (I didn't have a clue what to expect as never tried her over poles before)
She just went over them, but not neatly.
After that, every time we went over them she was AMAZING, the impulsion in that horse feels fantastic and I really hope I can get the confidence to jump her as I now know it would feel fab!
Then I got on Roo who did a lovely warm up, she's fairly useless at poles but she gave it a good go

But then it started raining so had to cut it short with her.

I love them both

aww yay nickie thats soo good really pleased you were confident enough to give bramble a kick up the backside lol....see you can do it and are a very good little rider

and i cant walk my numpty head horse out in hand without him decided hes walking me

so definitely winning there

(I still don't think much to my riding. Over the poles I just let her have her head and work it out for herself lol)

Just need to get up the confidence to jump her, will take my time with that though.
Hopefully taking her hacking tomorrow if weather is nice, I'm not sure how that will go as I've seen what she can be like to hack :S (last time Neil hacked her she spun her bum out of a junction with a lorry coming)

Well I have had a reasonably successful day - haven't quite finished the stables but didn't really expect to in one day - just need to finish off tomorrow and give them a good wash out with some Jeyes and they will be ready for fresh new beds after the pellets are delivered!

I have let her borrow them on the basis she will have grown out of my shoes anytime soon and they will be safe again for just me to wear

- until the next neice is big enough of course.....

This 10 quid budget is sooo hard though - I just popped into notts and into the whittards shop and they had the nicest hot chocolate which i thought would be a nice gift but even that was over a tenner!!!

Evening all, had a poo night last night, got woken up at 12am because had strange men hiding in bushes outside field, friends hubby always checks horses on the way home. When the men saw him they started whistling signals anyway to cut a long story short we found a man with a torch looking in another one of our fields. He had an irish accent and came out with the bullsh*t that he was looking for rabbits. I ended getting home at 2,30am after i was sure he was gone , all this after the crap year i have had makes me wish snoopy was not in foal that way i could just bring her home and put her with the boys. And it would be one less horse to worry about being stolen, oh god i,m sounding paranoid. "HELP"
