If it is I’m going to a christening today

(it’s not that I don’t like kids but I couldn’t eat a whole one

).
Will have to ride when I get back so something to look forward to.

Wind has died down and it looks like it’s going to be a nice sunny day here, hope it is with you folks.

I am off to watch some friends compete at a local dressage competition this morning, then some housework, then this afternoon i have to do the horses, and say my goodbyes to my pony who is being put to sleep in the morning. Needless to say i am absoutely dreading it, and I can't quite get going this morning........

OH is off ploughing at ploughing match today, so we're off to watch shortly. Must be as boring for us as horse shows for him, so mustn't complain. However there are horses ploughing at this one, might try to get some piccies for later.

Skippy - I should be at a Christening too but managed to get out of going as it is a 3 hour drive away and someone had to stay and look after the dogs!

lovely sunny morning here, but really cold, ooooh I love mornings like this, took the dogs out early then ridden already for a quick 1/2 hour school, just going to chill rest of the day, hope you all have a brilliant day

Well this morning started at 7am and at the moment I'm scrubbing a carpet clean with a dish sponge, so I'm taking a break, then I'm off to see Jack Jack to give him a good pampering

I poorly. Very bored of being poorly. Overdid it yesterday

So, am missing out on seeing Wimbles at Eland HT, and on watching daughter have a lesson on the Dizzy one

. My left elbow has come out in sympathy with my head - it's now locking and f'ing hurts if I make it go the wrong way by mistake. More

But on the

front, the reason I am so kn*ckered is that I went with Friend to get her new horsey

. He really is a poppet

. Needs to be learning some manners, but very sweet, loves attention, and is very quick to learn (including how not to load - took two bl00dy hours!). He's an ex-race horse who has just landed on his feet in terms of the most loving of homes and owner. Friend and he will have a whale of a time once he's had a few weeks in the field to chill

. I've told her that next hunt season, it's me 'n' Dizz and her 'n' Pops

. Can't wait!

morning everyone hope we are all ok.i have been ot and checked my boy and made sure he had plenty of hay and did his usal obs his resperation rate has come down slighty and is now sitting at 18 still pretty high but never mind. he will think he is in horsie paradise as he is not be be without hay/haylage at any time. he is going to cost be a fortune but never mind he is worth it in my eyes.

Morning all. Just back from the yard after doing horsies, and now having a cuppa before head out to do the grocery shopping. In a foul mood as teenage son decided to sneak in the house at 4.30am this morning!! so I didn't get back to sleep for hours after,and then overslept grrr! Warm and sunny here today

Afternoon all!! Well I went out last night - yey a social life!! - went to friends who made a lovely curry and we had a couple of bottles of wine. We are sliding into the worst time of year as they have horses to and hunt so at weekends we are all knackered so have to plan our meetings carefully round horse feeds/turnout etc

Good job we love them isn't it??

Lucky all of you being able to see your nags!!

I'm what might as well be a million miles away, in Sweden where I'm working at the mo' - come over here a lot, so have seen it all before, therefore not too exciting.

I'm itching to be back at home, 'cos ponio is standing idle at home loosing fitness as we speak - I'm hoping that when I get back next weekend I can get enough work into him to make him ready for our next baby hunter trial, only a few weeks away! Hopefully only 2 weeks off won't be too much idleness for him!

Been reeally busy today, done horses this morning, then went shopping in town, came home and am now cooking my roast chicken, while cleaning bathroom, changing beds, hoovering landing and washing hallway floor

do not want to do any cleaning tuesday as I want to ride my pony if she's hoof sound

Actually, I have(despite feeling wuff!!!!) Sorted out horses, got cat's stuff to the yard, sorted out stable, hoovered!!!!

Must be a day for cleaning as I have also been hard at it, cleaned the lounge, Utility, hall and done a bit of the Kitchen and that is ALL I am doing

Feeling a bit bad as I haven't been up to see the beasties but the YO does them on a Sunday anyway. I did however tire the dogs out which in itself is a major achievement (Piccy's in PG!)

Just about to light the fire, sort some washing out and will then be sitting down with a cuppa and some biccys, anyone want to join me?
