Morning all!

Off to ride the lumpy one in a few mins, providing she doesn't have any lumps in her saddle area. Her antibiotics start today so may treat her to some molasses to block the taste. Anybody got any other suggestions? She has her first bath of the week as well today, that will go down well!

What are others up to today?

I'm having a lazy morning - fed at 6.45am and didn't muck out because the light needs fixing about H's stable so I couldn't see to do it properly (well that's my excuse!

) So I guess today will involve going to a shop to buy a new flourescent strip light... oh joy!

I think it's high up on near hind. I spotted yesterday when the lad was on him, but someone said he looked off a couple of days ago. A very slight bit of swelling and heat around the fetlock. Cold hosed both hind legs. Stabled last night. If no better will call out vet. That will please hubby no end

Just on my way up to the yard, Not riding Charlie this morning as I couldn't get to sleep till after 2am so am knackered. Going to take some night nurse to night so hopefully that will knock me out!

I had thought it was the Rollestone thread but wondered if it wasn't as it had contiuned for so long afterwards. I couldn't get the cameras to work for me this year

sadly that is all about to change I am back to uni tomorrow but (stupidly?!) decided to commute so I am looking at 4.30 starts to get everything sorted and get there for 9am

He wants to be "Optimus Prime" this year- so we are making him a costume that actually transforms and he can walk in-- headache! lol

Last year he was "Predator" and won 1st place in the competition.

Well visitors didn’t leave until late yesterday so didn’t get to ride despite my good intensions to leave them to it and go anyway, the need for alcohol was too great after they'd gone

Not much planned for today, still not riding cos of dodgy back..... but did manage to poo pick last night with help of a friend.......
Had friends round last night so it was a late one!!! but no hangover this morning - ust a dull headache!

Can I just say grump grump grump moan moan.

My Head cold is getting worse my nose is bunged up and my throat sore and last night I was so hot in bed there was steam coming It was fun mucking out this morning because every time I bent down to scoop up some poo I nearly fell head first into it. At least as I cant smell I would have come up smelling of roses.

Its going to be a 20 cups of tea day I think.

I managed a bit of a lie in this morning - well nearly made to to 8.30!!

Got to make the most of it as it won't be long until they are in at night so early mornings become the norm. Have walked the dogs and started to poo pick the BGL's field. He and the coblet are swapping fields today - the BGL is on lawnmowing duty!! Am off out to clip the coblet in a bit and give her a general tidy up for winter. Then its riding time for both of them followed by sorting out the fields for the big swap!!
