Was great to meet the Sweet FA gang today
And yes I also spent more than I was intending but hey ho its only once a year right?
Enjoyed the TS demos and what I saw of Oli's too (was stood in a doorway and didn't have a clear view
)
I kept getting lost and texting poor samstar and saying 'Where are you?' Poor thing must have been tempted to turn her phone off

panic not darcy she is definately not for sale. although i have now abandoned her at lambridden stud for the next couple of months. she was a we star and walked straight in the trailer with not a care in the world

Toby is doing ok still on and off but brighter. a bit annoyed with vets as suppose to blood testvresults back on thursday afternoon or friday morning and still waiting i will be on the phone first thing in the morning.
As i have a small private yard it is quite difficuly for ellie to be out every day during the weaning stage so as my close friends own lambridden stud an international stud julie told me to take her down there and she can be put in with there filliers which she knows as was with them all summer. i felt this would be an easier option

skye was fine as they have been weaned for about 2 weeks but could still see each other so i just put skye out in field and then loaded ellie and the pony and off we went

A foal at our yard got split up from her mum without any form of weaning, just got bundled into the trailer and left to go their seperate ways
Was horrible to watch so I'm glad that the split went smoothly!

The BGL's tail isn't great but it is better with regular coats of detangler - does keep some of the dirt out - and then wash once a week/10 days.

Maybe we should make a weekend of it next year? I think thats what RubysGold and her mum did. Makes sense to me as you would need to split yourself in half if you want to see all the demos and all the stalls
