How's everyone?
Spent the last few nights with that nappy pony . Yesterday wejust spent riding up/ down, up / down , up / down the alley way towards the road which she was pretty chilled about , just veeery slow. But we don't mind that - her speed is fine.

Then today, I rode her right up to the road, then dismounted and when there was no cars about lead her across. She was really hesistant and attempted to barge me back to the alley once but we just carried on in a full circle til we were back facing the way we were aiming for and then she sort of seemed to defalte and say "oh, okay!" And walked quietly across to the gate. Then, once inside she was a bit of an idiot re spinning every other stride and then attempting to trot - back home but fortunatley she seems to give up easily

We walked 10 minutes up the field, then turned around and came home. Only real critisism was that she kept jogging so every other stride back home it was "No..stand. -pause- Okay, walk." "No, stand. -pause - Okay, walk."

I'm back!!

My lesson on the big grey lump was 75% fab!! Working forwards, in an outline, nice expansive trot etc etc the local endurance rider came past at a trot

right next to the jumping paddock we were in so I had to spend the next 15 mins making him go forward instead of up, sideways or backwards..........Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Anyway is now out in the pouring rain so will be happily slapping on the mud as we speak!! The coblet was a bit sulky as she didn't get to come out to play because of the rain BUT she has got her head in a pile of hay so has a smile back on her face..................

Well done D_L, all it takes is time and patience. It sounds as though she has been let off with it before.

Thats the thing I hate about most showjumping shows (people just hoon past at whatever speed they like ) or sponsored rides. People come flat out past you without so much as a thankyou!

And well! The online description said about an Austrian trying to get famous in LA - thought nothing major etc - And went and its about this gay guy who ahem, flaunts his sexuality , doesn't mind being naked about it all, and without much blurring out etc

Lol, I was too peeved that this person I was supposed to be meeting there had turned up an hour and a half late (queue stomach becoming detached from my throat) and then moaned that she'd not got tickets. She then decided it would be best that she ignored me completley, and then simply said "Oh, go and get food by yourself, I've only got a fiver and no card." "Why come up if you just have a fiver?!?!"

Yep, she didn't get tickets. We were stuck with the front row as it was! I rang her to let her know but she was having a dilemma getting red hair spray for her OH ...Don't ask me..
