Another full day at work again and, to top up my 'joy' at being here, they told me yesterday that I have to work full time right up until I leave, rather than just afternoons
Other than that it's a lovely day here - was hanging washing out at 7.15am before I came to work..... Need my head examined

morning peeps - I've overslept so quick coffee, throw on clothes and get to yard to meet mate to go fo a hack!!!!! Trying to feel vaguely human at the moment, but need more coffee!!!!

Well it's cold here but the sun is trying to get out and forecast says it's going to get sunny. I went up to the yard this morning to put Belle's rug on as it had been raining all night and it looked awful at home so I figured it'd put it on in case it rained so then she'd still be dry for riding tonight. But then when I got there it was glorious sunshine, so I've put her suncream on instead!
And we've had a little cuddle before work, so worth being up there in the cold and dark for a little cuddle.
You were all right, she's been fine overnight without her rug on - I was so cold I though my fingers were gonna drop off this morning, but I checked her ears and she was toasty.
I miss her now!

- but still no rain due. Have fed neds - the BGL has green grass stripes all over him - looks like a funky zebra - a real disco donkey
!! Dogs have been walked and I am having a several cuppas before heading out to work....

I know Slinky! It's still bloody freezing but she gets burnt so easily and it's gorgeous at the yard, even outside of work is getting a bit brighter.
I'm having a short toddle around the field tonight as my knee is still a bit sore to bend properly so just gonna have half an hour for exercise purposes (unless once I'm on I decide I want to have a jump etc, which usually happens!)

Sorry to hear that MrsM I think you need a good few Duvet days.
Just to make you smile. When my OH gave me my Birthday present yesterday :
It was in a bag that I had in my wrapping cupboad that I had received flowers in.
It was only a part present as he had hoped to pay for something I had ordered that I changed my mind about.
I had a trowel and a box of heroes wrapped up in some nice Teddy Bear paper that .... yes you have guessed he found in my wrapping drawer. He failed to notice the significant blue writing in the background which said Baby and BOY.
Yes he wrapped my pressy in the left over Baby paper from a friends Christening Gift!!!!!

Ok this is getting a bit ridiculous. I've been at work since 8.30am, logged straight on here and have been on here ever since. I have now developed lightning fingers so whenever anyone comes close I can click over to another programme on comp and pretend to be working.
I have literally done no work so far this morning and it's becoming a habit. Think I need rehab.

ive done all morning chores and ridden, horse was a numpty but whats new!!
done abit more work to chicken pen and am now covered in bramble scratches
having a quick catch up on here whilst brainstorming about cider business and ways to actually make profit! any ideas are more than welcome

Back from morning teaching... got a few hours until I start again but won't make it up to see little madam.
My sharer's doing her today so she'll be seen to, I just miss going up.

they can taste before they buy anyway, need to try and get signs up but gotta get them passed with council etc.
thing is we make scrumpy which is very old recipe for cider basically, so dont think many people want it. been looking at doing different varieties.

I'm back, had a lovely hack with fellow livery and we even ventured onto grass track bridleways!!!!! Ginger was very well behaved and we only had two naps today, but there was a reason for these ones, big pile of tree trunks next to road, which were obviously very scary!!!! Now home with thumping headache which I cant shift to save my life!!!! think I am going to ring in sick as really dont feel too great!!!!

Good afternoon!! Sorry I'm late!! Been a bit busy at work... for once!!
I didn't tell you, Horlicks on Tues had the devil in her (for the first time!) A girl was riding her before me and she kept getting to the corner of the arena and just spooked, spun and ran to the other end!! She done it about 5 times!! Girl was fine and stayed on, but her mum didn't look none too impressed!! I got on her and she tried it a few times with me, but managed to stop her!! I shouldn't laugh, but all I could think was "great, another person who won't like her" Bad I know!!
Anyway, teaching again on Saturday, but money is going towards my OH's birthday present - weekend away at a Spa Hotel, can't wait!! He doesn't know either!!

Next problem is the dog, who has decided to put his platella out whilst OH was watching him!!! Panic stations...he's OK though and has had arnica, bless!!
