Anyway, glad the BGL went really well today!!

The rain was awful here! P_P and two friends came up to ride, one taught the other two rode. They rode P_P's mare and son's big mare. As P_P's mare hasn't been ridden for a few weeks she was a bit spooky, especially with P_P's friend, but once P_P got on her she was as good as gold!!!

That mare knows her inside out!!

Son's big mare was a star, as usual!!!

At least they enjoyed themselves despite being soaked!!

I have washed bits and pieces for ebay, and now it's the big rugs to wash and proof!!

Hope it stays dry to get them dried!

Alternatively , I can offer thinly sliced cheese, or wafer thin ham!!

The drink is the toughest to get underneath the door, the bottle gets in the way!!

Not quite but my left leg was twitching a bit, he just would not bend left at all, could see him setting his shoulder against her and switching off completely. Likew when I watch showjumping pn tv and I lean forward every timey they go over a fence!

ETS - Quick question - Does anyone use Polypads these days?? If so, any idea how much to list them for on e bay, They are in mint condition, but I think they should start at 99p, does that sound ok?

aa - I do that when I watch riding on the TV - that and 'click' and shout things like 'leg on' etc as if they can hear or I know what I'm talking about...........

I work on the basis that if I'm not using it and some one else wants it even if its for a couple of quid its better than collecting dust and taking up space in my house!!

QT has that worm Jack Straw on as well - be interesting to see what he says and does - normally likes to sit on the fence - lets see if he has the courage of his convictions tonight!!

Its amazing when you start looking isn't it?!!

I am going to do mine at the weekend - every little helps. At least I didn't buy all of mine - I 'inherited' a lot from an old livery here who was giving up. Another livery (who we all hated) said she would have it if no one else wanted it (was a dodgy dealer/instructor) so I had it so she couldn't!! Childish I know but she would have just flogged it all!!

Anyway that was couple of years ago now so I don't feel bad - I have about 10 different bits that I am never going to use!

I just don't why I keep so much!!!

A couple of things were given to me, but shockingly, most of it I bought!!! Discovering we have ten Rambo/Rhinos in varying sizes to 6ft 9" was a shock!!! I'll never use them!!

Considering we have six horses/ponies and each has five rugs, how many of the blooming things did I buy??!!!

ETS - 6ft 9" doesn't even fit the big mare, she's a 7ft sometimes 7ft 3"!!

I've a 6ft 9" Rhino stable rug, clean and washed and packaged, and a 6ft 9" Rhino M/W, it's clean and washed and packaged too.

I'll have to check the garage, there might be heavy weight in that pile too, Rambo wug

P_P was meant to be cataloging them so I knew what was what, but she's gone out to a hallow'een party!!! Typical teenager!!
